Final Prototype Design
Images

These images were created from the CAD model created on Solidworks using the Keyshot Rendering package. They serve to highlight the application of the instrument and its construction and assembly. These Images were used to promote the project at the Degree exhibition. 

PR Animation

This animated video was created in the Keyshot Rendering Software and edited using Photoshop CS6. The video serves to showcase the inspection process of the product and was shown alongside my degree exhibition.

​This interactive CAD model was created using the VR function of the Keyshot Software Package. The CAD model which was designed using Solidworks was  imported into the Keyshot software and the materials designed and applied.​

PR Animation Explode

This animated video of the explosion of the product showcases the constituent components of the design and their orientation.

Engineering Drawings
​​

Engineering Drawings were created from the CAD design to describe the technical dimensions of the product to aid manufacture. Only the outlining drawings are shown to protect the intellectual property rights of the project.  

​My Dissertation project set out to design a novel inspection method for dental restoration quality control. It consisted of a proof of principle exploration into the new inspection method by thorough experimentation, then a design exercise which produced the detailed design ready to be manufactured into a functional prototype.
